GeorgiaVIEW Update - Spring 2015

A minor update was applied to GeorgiaVIEW over spring break. There are a few little improvements you may notice which are highlighted below and one significant feature that is now back.

Grid View

Grid View is back for discussions. You must enable it in your discussion settings if you want to again be able to see discussion posts displayed in the Grid View like you see below

 

Quicklink URLs

Now if you type or insert a website URL into a content file, GeorgiaVIEW will automatically create a link.

Also, previously if you had text you wanted to use as a link, you would need to type the text manually into the Insert Quicklink URL option. You can now highlight the text and choose Insert Quicklink URL and the text will be pre-populated. You only need insert the URL and save.

Quiz Display Settings

In quizzes, there are a couple of minor changes:

Quizzes that have no start or end dates are now displayed as "Always Available." Previously the quiz was displayed as "Always" but without indication to what always referred to. This should make it more clear for your students.

The quiz countdown time when taking a quiz now displays minutes and seconds and flashes at select intervals.

Flash displays occur at 10 minutes if quiz is 1 hour or longer; 5 minutes if less than an hour; & again at 1 minute regardless of quiz length.
