Good Crowd at Academic Integrity Workshop

Twenty-six faculty turned-out for a workshop on academic integrity last Friday. Dr. Bill Hill, professor emeritus of psychology at Kennesaw State University, led the session. He provided reasons why students cheat, the ways they do it, and strategies for dealing with it. Faculty were given some immediate ideas for what they can do in their classroom. But perhaps more beneficial is a desire by many faculty to develop a robust campus-wide policy and strategy for encouraging academic integrity and dealing with infractions.
